Bu çalışma, Erzurum'daki sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının coğrafya ile ilgili öz yeterlikleri konusunda genel bir değerlendirme yaparak, çeşitli değişkenler açısından ortaya çıkabilecek farklılaşmaları tespit etme amacına yönelik olarak hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmada, veri toplama aracı olarak, Karadeniz (2005) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan "Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmen Adaylarının Coğrafya Alanına İlişkin Öz Yeterlik İnancı" adlı 19 maddelik ölçek kullanılmıştır. Atatürk Üniversitesi Kâzım Karabekir Eğitim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği son smıf öğrencisi olan 60'i kız 98'i erkek toplam 158 öğretmen adayına uygulanan ölçekten elde edilen bulgulara dayalı olarak; öğretmen adaylarının coğrafya alanındaki genel öz yeterlik durumları ile söz konusu genel durumun bazı değişkenler etkisiyle gösterdiği değişimlerin yorumlanmasına gayret edilmiştir.
This study was prepared in Erzurum for the purpose of identifying differences that may arise from the perspective of various variables, by making a general assessment of the self-qualifications of teachers candidates in relation to geography. In the study, as a data collection tool, the Black Sea (2005) developed 19 material scale called "Social Information Teacher Candidate's Self-Competence Faith in the Geographic Area". Ataturk University Kâzım Karabekir Education Faculty Social Information Teaching is the last smif student of 60 girls and 98 men based on the findings obtained from the scale applied to a total of 158 teachers candidates; teachers candidates have been attempted to interpret the general status of self-capacity in the field of geography and the changes that the general situation in question shows with the influence of some variables.
