Universities are the institutions where the individuals acquire scientific and professional knowledge, have technical equipment and theoretical infrastructure, and at the same time contribute to their social developments and also they are basic units which supply labor force to labor market. Business world, especially under economic developments and transformation, demand for more university graduates nowadays at the present time when competition increases, the importance of education is understood better, and the importance of qualified labor force becomes evident.  As universities are the units which supply scientific and labor force resources which business world (industry) needs and business world is the unit which employs these resources, the cooperation between these units will provide social benefits both to the stakeholders and the society.  In this sense, with many projects carried out, the cooperation between the universities and industry, in other words, the cooperation between the units which are considered to be the stakeholders of labor supply and labor demand provide support for economic growth at micro and macro levels.  Especially, it is considered that vocational school students who are equipped with technical knowledge, called as intermediate staff, and have more market experience due to their apprenticeship training and vocational training, have the qualities of labour force demanded intensely by the business world. Vocational schools are indispensable elements of economy due to providing education to labor force.   Mugla has total 12 vocational schools in the centre and its districts under Mugla Mugla Sıtkı Kocman University. Mugla has a structure which will create a labor force demand for the graduates of vocational school especially in service sector, marble industry, fresh vegetables and fruit production, and tourism sector. The examination of demand for vocational school students to meet labor force supply and labor force demand, establish infrastructure, and determine the qualities of qualified labor force which the business world looks for will be a mirror for Mugla and for our country in general.  The aim of this study is to explore the business world which will lead these projects and examine their demands in order to form basis to carry out projects between university and industry, to identify the demands of the business world for the vocational school students more clearly, and to determine what can be done for the intersection of the supply and demand of the labor.  In order to identify the labor force represented by the sector, an examination will be carried out with the delegations from certain sectors registered to Mugla Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Mugla via in-depth interviews and its results will be revealed.
