Abstract:

In this work, the last celebrations of the Konya Âşıklar Festival, which continued for fifty-three years, began at the Mevlana Square, where the works related to the tradition of love were recorded and evaluated. Thirty-third day of love is celebrated. Many lovers who offer participation face economic difficulties because they don’t have a regular job to get income. The economic conditions should be improved in order to increase the participation in the Feast of Love. There have been the participation of lovers from various places in Turkey, but Konyalı lovers have provided less participation. More encouragement needs to be done for more participation. From day to day, cultural events are reducing and it is prevented from transmitting the tradition of love to the future generations. The main reason for these obstacles is that the tradition of love is not sufficiently promoted and recognized. In particular, the tasks that local governments will give to contribute to the employment of lovers will be effective in this way. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that there is a place where the lovers can show in every province and district, and that there is a place where the lovers can show in public and continuous demonstrations will be effective in this context. The organization and monitoring of programs related to the promotion of lovers to primary, secondary and high school students will also be an opportunity for this tradition to be more recognized. Fifty-third lovers and fellow lovers who participated in the Fifty-third lovers' celebration were listed. In the square of Mevlana were given examples of shootings, poems, coaching and turquoise. The provision of intense participation together with such meetings of lovers will be a great contribution to the Turkish Literature, the Turkish people and the peace of society. Even with the transfer of these holidays to an international level, the participation of the Turkish world from all over the world can be ensured by strengthening the fraternity and unity.
