Bu araştırmanın amacı, sağlık hizmeti kullanıcıları ve sağlık çalışanlarının e-sağlık okuryazarlık düzeyinin belirlenmesi ve sağlık sektöründeki finansal sürdürülebilirliği sağlama konusunda katılımcıların kişisel tercihlerinin değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırma evrenini 2020 yılında Mersin’in Tarsus ilçesinde ikamet eden sağlık hizmeti kullanıcıları ve sağlık çalışanları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma evreninden kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen katılımcılardan veri toplanmıştır (n=160). Çalışmada kullanılan soru kağıdında, Norman ve Skinner (2006) tarafından geliştirilen ve Tamer Gencer (2017) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan “e-sağlık okuryazarlık ölçeği” ile Tordrup, Angelis ve Kanavos (2013) tarafından hazırlanan ve Özer (2015) tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlanan “Finansal Sürdürülebilirliği Sağlama Konusunda Paydaş Görüşleri” ölçeğinin boyutlarından olan “kişisel tercihler” boyutuna ilişkin ifadelere yer verilmiştir. Veriler SPSS 23 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiş olup tanımlayıcı istatistikler ile t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi ve korelasyon analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, e-sağlık okuryazarlık ve finansal sürdürülebilirliği sağlama konusunda kişisel tercihler yaş ve cinsiyete göre anlamlı şekilde farklılaşmaktadır. Ayrıca araştırmada e-sağlık okuryazarlık ile finansal sürdürülebilirliği sağlamaya ilişkin kişisel tercihler arasında pozitif yönlü, anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The objective of this research is to assess the personal preferences of participants in determining the level of e-health literature of healthcare users and healthcare workers and ensuring financial sustainability in the health sector. The research universe is made up of healthcare users and health workers residing in Mersin's Tarsus district in 2020. The data was collected from the research universe easily identified by sample method (n=160). The questionnaire used in the study, developed by Norman and Skinner (2006) and adapted by Tamer Gencer (2017) to the "e-health literature scale" and prepared by Tordrup, Angelis and Kanavos (2013) and adapted by Özer (2015) to the "Partners' Opinions on Financial Sustainability" scale with the "personal preferences" scale. The data has been analyzed using the SPSS 23 package program and has been used to identify statistics with t test, one-way variance analysis and correlation analysis. According to the research findings, personal preferences for e-health reading and financial sustainability vary significantly by age and gender. The study also found that there was a positive, meaningful relationship between e-health reading and personal preferences regarding financial sustainability.
The aim of this study is to determine the e-health literacy level of healthcare users and healthcare professionals and to evaluate the personal preferences of the participants regarding financial sustainability in the health sector. The population of the research consists of healthcare users and healthcare professionals residing in Tarsus district of Mersin province in September 2020. Data were collected from the participants selected from the research population using the convenience sampling method (n=160). The e-health literacy scale which was developed by Norman and Skinner (2006) and adapted into Tırkish by Tamer Gencer (2017) was used in the study. At the same time “Financial Sustainability Provision Regarding Stakeholder Feedback" scale with the size of the "personal preferences" which was developed by Tordrup, Angelis ve Kanavos (2013) and adapted into Turkish by Özer (2015) was also used. Data were examined through SPSS 23 package program by using descriptive statistics and parametric tests. In addition, correlation analysis was conducted to test the relationship between e-health literacy level and personal preferences. According to the research, participants' e-health literacy level and personal preferences for ensuring financial sustainability differ significantly by age and gender. Besides, there was a positive and significant relationship between e-health literacy level and personal preferences regarding financial sustainability.
