Ormanlar, milli parklar ve ekosistemler gibi çevresel varlıklar iktisadi faaliyetlerin devam ettirilebilmesi için gerekli temel girdileri sağlar ve atıklar için depolama işlevi görür. Aynı zamanda çevresel varlıklar ve ekosistemler birer sermaye stokudur. Bunların yanında çevresel varlıkların rekreasyonel amaçlı kullanımı da söz konusudur. Ekosistemlerin sağladığı fayda ve hizmetler, piyasada doğrudan fiyatlandırılamaz. Bu fiyatlandırmanın ya da değerlemenin yapılabilmesi için piyasa dışı yöntemlere gereksinim vardır. Ekosistemlerin sağladığı fayda ve hizmetler kullanım ve kullanım dışı değerler olarak ayrılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Beydağları Sahil Milli Parkı’nın rekreasyonel amaçlı kullanım değeri ile kullanım dışı değeri, piyasa dışı yöntemlerden Seyahat Maliyeti Yöntemi (SMY) ve Koşullu Değerleme Yöntemi (KDY) kullanılarak hesaplanmıştır.
Environmental assets like forests, national park and ecosystems provide raw materials for the economic activities. At the same time environmental assets and ecosystem services are capital stocks. Beside these services, it is in the question that ecosystems can be benefited for recreational use. Utilities and services provided by ecosystems cannot be priced directly through the market. In order to valuate ecosystems, non-market valuation techniques are required. Services and utilities provided by ecosystems can be separated as use and non-use values. In this paper, use value for recreational purposes and non-use value of Beydağları Sahil Milli Parkı is calculated by using Travel Cost Method (TCM) and Contingent Valuation Method (CVM).
