Abstract:

One of the important factors in the ability of the child to meet the educational requirements of the school environment and to successfully carry out the educational activities is the child’s preparation for school. In this sense, it is believed that it is important to identify the factors associated with the child's school preparation condition with scientific research. This study also aims to study the state of social independence skills of children who are moving from this point to pre-school education. The research was carried out in the relative scan model of quantum research patterns. The examples of the study have been made by 279 pre-school children who continue to enter the primary schools associated with the Ministry of National Education in the province of Konya. In the study, the measurement of children’s social independence skills in the maternal and maternal behavior scale of social independence is the underdimensional scale of social independence, the six-year-old children’s emotional and behavior scale of school preparation is the underdimensional scale of school preparation. In the analysis of the data of the study, Pearson moments broken correlation ratio analysis and simple linear regression analysis methods were used. Research results showed that the social independence skills of children in the pre-school period are a meaningful explanation of the state of preparation for school.
