Abstract:

The aim of this study is to measure the perception of the individual pension system, which is a new approach to social security. The 665 people who were selected by the easy sample method were asked whether they wanted to prefer the individual pension system. It was found that 46.8% of participants prefered the BES. The demographic and socio-economic factors that could be influenced by this preference were later addressed. As a result of the quarterly independence tests, a dual logistics regression model has been established with variables that can affect the preference of the individual pension system and the established model has been statically meaningful. According to the results of the established dual logistics regression model, the age of individuals at the 5 % level of importance (1), the monthly savings (2), the idea of staying in the individual pension system (3), whether or not the cuts made by the individual pension fund (4), whether or not the amount accumulated in the individual pension fund (5), the idea of housing (6), the idea of investing their savings in their own business (7), the idea of ensuring their personal future (8) are the factors that affect the preference of the individual pension system. According to the results of the dual logistics regression model, the idea of making individual retirement insurance (9) and the idea of buying a car (10) are effective in preferring the individual retirement site at a 10% level of importance.
