Kökleri Rönesans’a kadar giden modernlik, dünya tarihinde yeni bir dönemi imlemektedir. Bu dönemde modernlik yeni bir üretim biçimi, siyaset tarzı, toplum tasarımı ve iktisadi düzen olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Böylece insan-insan, insan-tanrı ve insan-doğa ilişkileri dönüşmeye başlamıştır. Modern bireyde ve toplumda ortaya çıkan değişimlerin arka planında değişen hakikat algısı bulunmaktadır. Yani insantanrı-doğa üçgeninde insan merkeze yerleşmiş ve diğer ikisi ona göre tanımlanmıştır. Artık dinin insan hayatında oynadığı rolü bilimsel bilgi oynamaya başlamıştır. Modernleşmenin doğal sonucu olan sekülerleşme, toplumsal yaşamı geleneğin değişmezliklerinden uzaklaştırma ve semavi olanla bağların koparılması sürecidir. Merkeze insanı alarak başlayan değişim ve dönüşümler modern-seküler bir süreçle sonuçlanmış, bu süreçte din ve aile arasındaki ilişki belli bir dönüşüme uğramıştır. Bu dönüştürücü dinamikler ailenin geleneksel gövdesini hırpalamış ve çözülmeler yaşanmasına neden olmuştur. Bu sosyal ve kültürel değişmelerin yaşandığı süreçte aile, hem yapısal hem de fonksiyonel olarak küçülürken, evlenme şekilleri de değişmiştir. Bu arada, aile ve evlilik/nikâh kurumları eski önemlerini ve kutsallıklarını yitirmiş ve bir anlamda seküler bir karakter kazanmaya başlamıştır. İşte makalede ele aldığımız konu ailede gerçekleşen bu çözülme sürecidir.
The modernity, which goes from the roots to the Renaissance, is bringing a new era in the world history. During this period, modernity emerged as a new form of production, a political style, a social design and an economic order. Thus the human-human, human-God and human-natural relationships have begun to transform. There is a perception of truth changing in the background of the changes that occur in the modern individual and society. Thus, the human-natural triangle is located in the human center and the other two are defined according to it. Now the role that religion plays in human life has begun to play scientific knowledge. The secularization, the natural result of modernization, is the process of removing social life from the immutabilities of tradition and the breakdown of ties with the semavian. Changes and transformations that began taking man to the center resulted in a modern-secular process, in which the relationship between religion and family has undergone a certain transformation. These transformative dynamics have stumbled the family’s traditional body and led to dissolvents. In the process of these social and cultural changes, while the family, both structural and functional, is reduced, the forms of marriage have also changed. Meanwhile, family and marriage/marriage institutions have lost their ancient importance and holiness and have begun to gain a secular character in a sense. This is the issue we discuss in this article that occurs in the family.
Modernity, whose roots are traced back to the Renaissance, marks a new era in world history. In this period, modernity emerged as a new mode of production, political style, society design and economic order. Therefore, the relationships of man-man, man-god and man-nature began to transform. The changing perception of truth is at the background of the changes that emerged in the modern individual and society. In other words, man was placed at the center of the man-god-nature triangle and the other two were defined in accordance with him. The role of religion in human life was replaced by scientific knowledge. Secularization, the natural consequence of modernization, is the process of distancing social life from the immutabilities of tradition and breaking ties with what is ethereal. The changes and transformations initiated by placing man at the center resulted in a modern-secular process and the relationship between religion and family underwent a certain transformation during this process. These transformative dynamics impaired the traditional structure of the family institution and caused dissolutions. Within this process where such social and cultural changes took place, the family institution diminished both structurally and functionally and forms of marriage changed as well. In the meantime, institutions of family and marriage lost their importance and sanctity and adopted a secular disposition in a sense. The topic discussed in the article is this process of disintegration in the family institution.
