The drying process is the process of reducing the high humidity rate in agricultural materials to a critical humidity level in an average range of 7-15% where it can be stored without damage. In literature, it is known that a lot of dryers are developed in the drying field, specific to different products or product groups. However, manufacturers don’t pay too much attention to this in drying processes, and they often use dryer partners. In this study, the Turkish Statistical Bureau (TÜIK) used the drying numbers in the years 2004-2018 for our country and the Central Black Sea Division; the applicable network-based foolish logic extraction system (ANFIS) and the rotating gray model (RGPM) methods predicted the potential change in future drying numbers. According to the findings, the potential product dryer numbers for our country for 2019, 2020 and 2021 are identified as 1168, 1226 and 1265 by the ANFIS method, while for the Central Black Sea Division are 125, 130 and 139.
