So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.
How can I see only citations to my article?

Tüketim Toplumunda Metalaştırılan Dini Yeniden Okuma Önerisi: Bireyin Dine Yabancılaşması Üzerine Bir Giriş* A Proposal for Reconsidering the Religion Commodified in the Consumer Society: An Introduction to the Individual's Alienation to Religion Bekri Koç, Araştırma Görevlisi, Bingöl Üniversitesi, İlahiyat Fakültesi, Din Sosyolojisi Anabilim Dalı RA, Bingol University, Faculty of Theology, Department of İslamic Art History Bingol, Turkey [email protected] orcid.org/0000-0002-5298-0448 Öz Tüketim, insanın yeryüzüne attığı ilk adımından günümüze kadar uzanan bir olgudur. Abstract Consumption is a phenomenon that extends from the first step taken by man into the earth to the present day. Religion also takes its place in the same historical adventure. In this context, the relationship between consumption and religion, or religious beliefs, worships and values has taken different forms throughout history. Many sociologists have studied the relationship between consumption and religion from various aspects and tried to interpret its manifestations in their own societies. As a matter of fact, Marx helps us analyze these relations that extend over to the present day with his suggestions about both consumption and religion. Although the concept of alienation has been used by Marx for industrialization and for the analysis of his society through the capitalist system, it can contribute to the demonstration of the state of religious beliefs, worships and values commodified in today's consumption societies. This study examines the alienation of individuals to religion, which is caused by the encapsulation and commodification of religious beliefs, worships and values by the consumption codes and its conveyance to society. The study aims to analyze the consumer society in contemporary Turkey through Marx's concept of alienation and to show the social status of religious individuals, and tries to suggest the proposal of reconsidering the religion that has been commodified. A Proposal for Reconsidering the Religion Commodified in the Consumer Society: An Introduction to the Individual's Alienation to Religion Coach, Research Officer, Bingöl University, Faculty of Theology, Department of Islamic Art History, Bingol University, Faculty of Theology, Department of Islamic Art History Bingol, Turkey [email protected] orcid.org/0000-0002-5298-0448 Religion is in the same history. In this context, consumption and religion or religious beliefs, worship and values have been in different relationships throughout history. Many sociologists have tried to interpret their manifestations in their own societies by addressing the relationship between consumption and religion from various aspects. In fact, Marx is useful for us to analyze these relationships that lasted to the present day with his thoughts on both consumption and religion. Although Marx used the concept of alienation to analyze his own society through the industrialization and capitalist system, it can also contribute to the demonstration of the status of religious beliefs, worship and values metalized in today’s consumer societies. This study includes the subject of religious beliefs, worship and values, which causes their consumption codes to be embedded, metalized and presented to the society, and the subject of the religious alienation of individuals. This subject, through Marx’s concept of foreignization, aims to analyze the present Turkish consumer society and to show the social status of religious individuals and to propose the possibility of re-reading the metalized religion.
