Purpose: This study was planned to determine the levels of obesity prejudice for students studying at an university. Method: The sample of the research formed 740 students who studied and participated in the study at 4 faculty and 1 professional college of a university in the 2018-2019 educational year. The research data was collected through the survey form prepared by the researchers and the GAMS 27-Obezite Prejudice Scale face-to-face interview method. Identifying statistics were used in the assessment of data; number, percentage, average, Independent student t test, Oneway ANOVA test. Results: The study found that 15.7 percent of students were overweight and obese, 8.2 percent described themselves as obese and 88.2 percent described themselves as predisposed to obese. 55.8 percent of students have a predisposition. The scale of students’ obesity prediction was statically determined between the average score and the student’s class levels and the schools in which they studied. The conclusion: University students were determined to be prejudiced against obesity. In this regard, it is believed that education and reconciliation work should be focused on the reduction of the prejudice against obese individuals in society.
