Five new species of the genus Miltochrista Hübner from Indochina, India and China (Lepidoptera: Erebidae: Arctiinae)

Abstract:

Abstract Five new species of the genus Miltochrista Hübner, [1819] are described: Miltochrista kravchenkoi sp. n. (Myanmar: Chin State), Miltochrista velona sp. n. (NW Myanmar, SW China (Sichuan) and N Vietnam), Miltochrista pachia sp. n. (NW Myanmar: Chin State), Miltochrista ekliptika sp. n. (Myanmar: Kachin and Chin States), and Miltochrista tinsukia sp. n. (NE India: Assam). The lectotype for Cyllene humilis Walker, 1859 is designated. Adults, and male and female genitalia of the new and the similar species are illustrated.
