Özet:

This research aims to perform a descriptive analysis of the performance of the amateur soccer team of the Esporte Clube Internacional Santa Maria, junior category, in the games of the soccer state championship cup (RS), in the year 2016. The performance of the Esporte Clube Internacional de Santa Maria was analyzed in four of the twelve games played by the team, two away from home (Clube Esportivo Lajeadense and Torino Futebol Clube) and two at home (Sport Club Internacional de Porto Alegre and Esporte Clube Passo Fundo). The statistical analyzes were based on the data collected through video records and direct observation of the games. It can be concluded that the results of the first four analyzed games, where the team obtained three defeats and a tie, reflected the insufficient performance of the team during the other games of the cup. It shows the power of statistical analyses in the identification of the important factors influencing the sportive performance, and indicates the necessity of use of this type of activity to the high quality performance of the teams. The results of this work are the result of a supervised curricular internship.
