Abstract:

Macaristan’ın önemli bir kısmı 1526 Mohaç Savaşı sonrasında Osmanlı idaresine girdi. Ülke başta Budin olmak üzere birkaç eyalete bölündü ve yaklaşık 150 yıl Osmanlı yönetiminde kaldı. 1683 Viyana bozgunu sonrasında Avusturyalılar ile yapılan ve yıllarca süren savaşlarda kahramanca savunuldu, fakat 1686’da bu devlet tarafından işgal edildi. Bu makalede Budin’in son valisi Abdurrahman Abdi Paşa’nın savunma sırasında yaptığı mücadeleleri, şehit oluşu ve Budin’in elden çıkışı ele alınmıştır.

Abstract:

A significant part of Hungary entered the Ottoman rule after the battle of Mohaç in 1526. The country was divided into several provinces including the province of Budin and stayed under the Ottoman rule for about 150 years. Budin was defended heroically in the years of wars against Austrians after the defeat of Vienna in 1683 but it was occupied by that state in 1686. In this article, I discussed the last governor of Budin, Abdurrahman Abdi Pasha’s struggles during the defense of the eyalet, his death and the lost of the eyalet.
