This study consists of face-to-face survey data with 206 people living in the province of Erzincan in order to study consumers' red meat consumption behaviors and import meat points of view. 5 percent of consumers who are concerned with our work in the Erzincan province said they consume red meat every day, 36.7 percent one week, 36.2 percent two-three weekly, 10.1 percent two-three monthsly and 11.6 percent once a month. While the monthly income has a statistically significant (p<0,05) impact on consumers' red meat consumption frequency, the place where consumers live has been found unimportant. The monthly income from independent variables on the monthly spending for red meat consumption has a significant impact (p<0,05) while the place where he lived has not had a significant impact. Only 5.7% of participants prefer imported red meat. 47.4 percent of those who do not prefer import red meat found it safe, while 33.3 percent did not prefer imported meat for domestic production.
