Duygusal Zekâ ile İş Performansı İlişkisinde Algılanan Örgütsel Desteğin Aracılık Rolü: Sigortacılık Sektörü Çalışanları Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Bu araştırmanın amacı, karşılıklı güven esası işleyişine sahip olan sigortacılık sektöründe; duygusal zekâ ile iş performansı arasındaki ilişkide algılanan örgütsel desteğin aracılık rolünü belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren sigorta şirketlerinin, İstanbul'da bulunan genel müdürlüklerinde çalışan 240 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma değişkenleri arasındaki korelasyon ve regresyon analizini, ölçüm aracının güvenilirliğini, bağımsız ve bağımlı değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin gücünü, duygusal zekâ ve iş performansı arasındaki ilişkide algılanan örgütsel desteğin aracılık etkisini bulmak için veriler SPSS 26.0 ve Process Macro 4.0 kullanılarak istatistiksel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular, duygusal zekanın çalışanın iş performansı üzerinde olumlu bir etkisi olduğunu ve algılanan örgütsel desteğin, duygusal zekâ ile iş performansı arasındaki ilişkiye kısmi olarak aracılık ettiğini göstermektedir.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the mediating role of perceived organizational support in the relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance which has the principle of mutual trust in insurance sector. The sample of the study consists of 240 people working at the headquarters of insurance companies operating in İstanbul, Türkiye. SPPS 26.0 (Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences) and Process Macro 4.0 were used to find the correlation and regression analysis between study variables, the reliability of the measurement tool, the strength of the relationship between independent and dependent variables, and the mediating effect of perceived organizational support on the relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance. The findings confirm that emotional intelligence has a positive effect on the employee's job performance and perceived organizational support partially mediates the relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance.
