Bu araştırmada, BİST’e kayıtlı tekstil, giyim eşyası ve deri sektöründe faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin finansal performansları incelenmektedir. Çalışmada Best-Worst Yöntemi ile TOPSIS yöntemi bütünleşik olarak kullanılmaktadır. Tekstil, giyim eşyası ve deri sektöründe yer alan ve 2015-2019 yıllarında verilerine ulaşılabilen 21 şirketin verileri ile analiz yapılmaktadır. Finansal oranlardan 15’i çalışmanın kriterleri olarak belirlenmiştir. Yapılan analiz sonuçlarına göre tüm dönemlerin TOPSIS skorları esas alındığında finansal performans sıralamasına göre ilk beş şirketin BRMEN, DERIM, BRKO, DAGI ve HATEK olduğu görülmektedir. İlgili sektörde kısa vadeli borçlanma oranının yüksek olduğu ve bu sebeple finansman giderlerinin artarak kârlılığa olumsuz etkisi olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmaktadır.
The financial performance of companies operating in the textile, clothes and leather sector registered with BIST is examined in this study. The Best-Worst and TOPSIS methods are used as integrated in the analysis. Analysis is carried out with the data of 21 companies in the textile, clothes and leather sector, whose data can be accessed in 2015-2019. 15 of the financial ratios have determined as the criteria of the study. According to the results of the analysis, it is seen that the top five companies according to the financial performance ranking are BRMEN, DERIM, BRKO, DAGI and HATEK, based on the topsis scores of all periods. It is found that the short-term borrowing rate in the relevant sector is high, and therefore financing costs increase and have a negative impact on profitability.
