Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the companies that produce complementary health insurance. Method - In this study, the number of employees of insurance companies operating in Turkey between 2017 and 2021 and producing complementary health insurance, the active sum, self-resources, technical profits / losses, total income, the number of insured and the total premium variables, the insurance companies have been examined according to the method of "Gry Relational Analysis". The findings - The study finds that the companies that produce complementary health insurance have increased in terms of the number of companies over the years and their performance is at the same level. The variables used in the determination of the company’s performance have been found to have an impact on the performance, especially the number of insured and the performance of companies that increase the premium production. Debate - Today, as for every company, the determination of performance levels within insurance companies has become an important issue. It is necessary to determine the performance level in cases where profit is achieved, more insurers can be insured, competing with competing companies. This research is also expected to provide insurers with information and equipment from the point of view of insurance companies, while researchers who want to work in this field are also expected to contribute from the point of view of literature.
