Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi TIP FAKÜLTESİ DERGİSİ: 2006 Eylül; 13(3) Ebelik ve hemşirelik son sınıf öğrencilerinin okul-hastane işbirliği ile ilgili görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi Nurhan Gümral, Fatma Coşar Özet Amaç: Bu çalışma, Klinik Sahada Entegre Uygulamalar (KSEU) dersi alan Ebelik ve Hemşirelik son sınıf öğrencilerin (intörn) Okul-Hastane İşbirliği (OHİ) ile ilgili görüşlerini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç-Yöntem: Araştırma, tanımlayıcı olarak planlanmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından ilgili literatürler incelenerek hazırlanan 27 soruluk anket formu, SDÜ Isparta Sağlık Yüksek Okulu 2003-2004 yılı Ebelik ve Hemşirelik Bölümü 4.sınıfta okuyan, KSEU dersinin stajını OHİ kapsamında SDÜ Tıp Fakültesi Araştırma ve Uygulama Hastaneleri'nde yapmakta olan 84 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. OHİ'nin özgüvenlerini etkileme durumu, mezun olduktan sonra hangi görev biriminde yer almak istedikleri ve bu görevi almaya hazır olup olmadıkları, KSEU sürecinde uygulama alanlarının yeterli olma durumu ve bu süreçten mezun olmanın fark oluşturup oluşturmayacağı değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular ve Sonuç: OHİ uygulaması öğrencilerin özgüvenini olumlu yönde etkilemiştir. Öğrencilerin %56'sı mezuniyet sonrası ebe/hemşire olarak çalışmak istediklerini ifade etmişlerdir. KSEU sürecinde kendilerine olan özgüvenlerinin artmış olması, vaka çeşitliliği ve hastanenin birçok servisinde staj yapmış olmaları kendilerini görev almaya hazır hissetmelerinde etkili olmuştur. Ebelik Bölümü için doğum stajının yetersiz olduğunu sadece ebelik bölümü öğrencileri söylemişlerdir. Yine öğrencilerin tamamı KSEU sürecinden mezun bir ebe/hemşire ile bu süreçten geçmemiş bir ebe/hemşire arasında fark olacağını ifade etmişlerdir. Bu sonuçlar, KSEU sürecinin öğrenci üzerinde olumlu kazançlar sağladığını göstermekte olup OHİ'nin önemini ve gerekliliğini ortaya koymaktadır. Anahtar kelimeler: Okul, hastane, işbirlik Abstract Evaluation of the opinions of the midwifery and nursing senior (intern) students about the School-Hospital Cooperation Aim: This study aims to evaluate the opinions of the midwifery and nursing senior (intern) students who take Integrated Practice in Clinical Area (IPCA) course about the School-Hospital Cooperation (SHC). Material and Method: The research was planned to be of a descriptive nature. A survey was conducted on 84 senior students who were studying in Suleyman Demirel University, School of Health, Department of Midwifery and Nursing in the year 2003-2004 and who were performing their IPCA course internship within the framework of SHC in Suleyman Demirel University Hospital, Faculty of Medecine. The evaluation was made according to the criteria cited as follows. The effect of SHC on the self-confidence of the students and their choice of department in which they wanted to work after the graduation, whether they were ready for their duty in this department, whether practicing fields were sufficient during IPCA period, and whether the graduation through this period would make a difference or not. Results and Conclusion: CSH programme was effected possitively the self-reliance of the students. Students self-confidence has to be increased by themselves in IPCA period, kinds of case and whose had a training period in lots of hospital service, those are effectived to feel ready on duty. Only midwifery students has said that obstetrics intership was not enough for midwifery department. All students have said that there will be differences between who was completing/graduated of IPCA period or not and when midwife/nurse passed this period its better then others for lonely work. These results explaned that importance of CSH, and the period of IPCA showing advantages over these students. Key words: School, hospital, collaberation

Suleyman Demirel University TIP FACULTY JOURNAL: September 2006; 13(3) Ebelik and Nursing last-class students’ opinions on school-hospital cooperation assessment Nurhan Gümral, Fatma Coşar Summary Purpose: This study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the opinions of Ebelik and Nursing last-class students (intorn) School-hospital cooperation (OHI) on the course of Clinical Field Integrated Applications (KSEU). Method: The research is planned to identify. The researchers have prepared 27 question survey forms by examining the relevant literature, the SSU Isparta Higher School of Health 2003-2004 Department of Medicine and Nursing 4. Students in the class, the KSEU course has been applied to 84 students who are doing the stage of the KSEU course in the framework of the OHI SDU Faculty of Medicine Research and Applied Hospitals. The state of influence of OHI’s self-confidence, which task unit they want to attend after graduation and whether they are ready to take this task, the state of sufficient application areas in the KSEU process and whether graduation from this process will create a difference. Results and Results: The OHI application has positively influenced the student’s self-confidence. 56% of students said they wanted to work as a parent/nurses after graduation. The increase in their self-confidence in the KSEU process has been effective in the diversity of cases and the fact that they have been internshiping in many hospitals and they feel ready to take the job. Only the students of the abortion department have said that the birth stage is insufficient for the abortion department. All of the students said that there will be a difference between a parent/infermier graduated from the KSEU process and a parent/infermier not passed through this process. These findings show that the KSEU process provides positive profits on the student and reveals the importance and necessity of the OHI.
