Mobbing, a rising issue in the employee safety area, has recently been paid attention more and more in the academic and business settings. Mobbing is a series of action having multidimensional features socially and psychologically, and it is frequent in occupational area. People who have become mobbing targets often work in an emotionally unhealthy environment. Mobbing affects the victims’s health and loss of their concentration. In addition to unpleasant working relations, including the break down of communication and teamwork, mobbing generally impacts overall productivity negatively as well. Having serious unfavorable effects both on an individual and organizational even on a social basis; realizing the mobbing behavior, identifying its reasons and taking the necessary caution are essentially important. For prevention, there must be an organized intervention including a strategically approach towards mobbing and a positive environment at workplace.
