Traditional tourism marketing aims to influence tourist travel motivation using visual and sensual factors. Brochures containing one-dimensional photos were used to influence tourists’ purchasing behavior. Technological changes enabled the creation of two- and three-dimensional photos and videos. One of the technological changes, "Sanal Reality" provides a real-time three-dimensional interaction experience produced in a computer environment. This research aims to determine whether three-dimensional virtual reality videos affect travel motivation or not. The study applied the pre-test-sontest control group model. The travel motivation scale was resolved twice at a different time without any interference with the control group. The experimental group was manipulated by watching a three-dimensional and 360-degree video with virtual reality glasses before responding for the second time. The data collected was analyzed by a related and non-related sampling t-test. The results of the study showed that the predest and estest average differences of the experimental group, which is a virtual reality experience, are statistically meaningful. The conclusion was that virtual reality videos positively influenced the motivation of tourists to travel.
