Abstract:

Imagination is a faculty and a human power that explains the creative experience in literature, poetry and the arts in general. Imagination is one of the most important elements of literary creativity in addition to language, passion, style, thought and meaning. And fiction is closely related to "emotion", which confirms its importance together in establishing the concept of literature and poetry together. Imagination is necessary for creativity, and the recipient as it combines artistic images and works to reshape them and bring them out in the brightest image, as it transcends rhetorical images far beyond and deeper than that and leaves an impact on the soul through the artistic formation of language. Creativity originates from the human psyche. Previously, the belief that the demons of poetry are the inspiration. Every devil poet says poetry on his tongue with the influence of a mysterious invisible force. This belief prevailed among Arabs from the pre-Islamic era until the Abbasid era. As for Greek philosophers, they interpret this ability as invisible forces linked to the gods. Whenever the poet’s poem was of course “innate”, that poetry was a reflection of the state of its sayinger, and the more the poet believed the deeper and deeper in the emotion, away from exaggeration, the greater his influence in the hearts of readers. When the moral inner honesty meets the artistic honesty of a poet or creative writer resulting in toxic literature that elevates the morals of the public to build a morally integrated and pensionable society and in this way the literature has achieved its highest goals, which is to spread goodness, truth, beauty and virtue in the best possible way.In order for this to be achieved in literature, it is necessary for the creator to have his soul circling in the space of freedom and other worlds seeking vast spaces, and this flight is achieved by imagination. Imagination is like a soul that broadcasts its fragrance in the worlds of the literary text, poetry and prose, because logic takes you from one specific place to another, but only imagination is able to take you to any other place, as imagination encircles the world. Imagination is more important than knowledge because it is the creator of it and he is able to build the future in conjunction with hard and diligent work, and imagination is one of the most important means of changing reality owned by man and one of the most important blessings that God gave to human beings. As for the field of rhetoric, the rhetoric previously realized that the difference and differentiation between writers in their use of language is certainly not due to the degree of mastery of the language itself only, but also to that faculty in the human soul, which enables him to be creative and innovative to present the idea in a way that awakens thought and stimulates conscience and sends in a number of imaginations Pictures and sensations, namely "imagination" Without imagination, our souls would not have flown in the worlds of literature and art together, nor were these literary relics alive forever over time, passed down generations to generation after generation, and these souls would not die with the death of their owners, and the language would still need imagination because it is the eternal treasure that provides it with life, strength and youth There is no literature without imagination.
