The purpose of this research is to examine the functionality of music lessons teaching programme carried out in twelfth classes of secondary schools, and to determine the effectiveness of acquisitions, in programme, and to bring solution proposals by drawing attention to inconveniences in direction of teachers views. The study group is made up of music teachers working in educational organizations belonging to National Education Ministery in the city centre of Erzurum in 2015-2016 school year. The sample of the study is made up of 22 teachers serving in central districts of Yakutiye, Aziziye and Palandöken belonging to the city of Erzurum. In the study, descriptive reseach method was used in an integrative approach. The data were collected by means of Music Teacher Interview Form. In statistically solutions of quantitative data, SPSS 21 packet programme was used, and Content analysis method was used in Qualitative data. In the results of findings obtained, ıt is seen that music teachers thought that the acquisitions of twelfth class teaching programmes became functional partly. In the frame of these conclusions, recommendations orienting to the increasing of the functionality of secondary education twelfth class teaching programmes have been brought.
