Purpose: This study was carried out in the farmer field in the conditions of the Amik sheet in 2017 to determine the herb productivity and quality in the eggs that are grown as the main product of the October time in the horizontal ecological conditions. Method and findings: P31P41, 70 May 82, DKC 6590 and Carella F1 eggs, which were most used in the experiment and cultivated in the region, were planted at 3 different October times (25 February, 14 March, 30 March). The research was carried out three times by trial pattern of parsels divided into random blocks. In this study, to determine the impact of the various varieties of the October time on herb productivity and quality, the characteristics of the plant length (BB), the number of leaves (YS), the peak spray extraction time (TPÇS), the sap diameter (SÇ), the leaf weight (YA), the sap weight (SA), the coating weight (KA), the green herb productivity (YOV), the dry herb productivity (KOV), the raw protein ratio (HPO), the unsoluble in the neutral environment (NDF), the unsoluble in the acid environment (ADF), the dry substance consumption (KMT), the net energy lactation (NEL), the relative food value (NYD) and the dry substance digestion (KMS) are studied. The impact of the October times discussed Egyptian varieties on all the examined characteristics other than the BB and YS characteristics has been statistically significant. General Comment: The highest YOV and KOV were found in general in October and the lowest was found in October, while the highest was found in October. The highest HPO was obtained on 25 February, while the lowest HP was found on 14 March. The highest NDF and ADF rates were obtained from October 30 and March 14, respectively, while the lowest were obtained from October 25 and March 30. The varieties of KMT and NYD October date has been slowly decreased. The highest KMS and NEL values of the varieties are obtained from October 14th, while the lowest values are obtained from October 25th February. The importance and impact of the study: These findings can be found that the 14th March of the Egyptian varieties discussed will give good results in terms of herb productivity and quality. But the HPO of the treated plants was found low in this date in October.
Aims: This study was carried out to determine the effect of sowing dates on forage yield and quality of commonly cultivated maize cultivars under Amik lowland conditions on Farmer field in 2017. Methods and Results: Maize cultivars namely P31P41, 70 May 82, DKC 6590 ve Carella F1 that are used as plant material in this study and are widely cultivated in the zone was sown as three different sowing dates (25 February, 14 March and 30 March) with the triplicate. The experiment was laid out as the split plots in randomized block design. In order to determine the effects of different sowing dates on forage yield and quality of these maize cultivars in this study, plant height (PH), leaf number (LN), days to tasseling floret (DTF), stem diameter (SD), leaf weight (LW), corncob weight (CW), fresh forage yield (FFY), dry forage yield (DFY), crude protein rate (CPR), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), dry matter intake (DMI), net energy lactation (NEL), relative feed value (RFV) and dry matter digestibility (DMD) were evaluated to determine the forage yield and quality of maize cultivars.
