Abstract:

The purpose of the research is to determine the impact of the 'Think Skills Program' developed for primary school 3rd grade students on the creative thinking skills and to evaluate the nature of the program developed; the effectiveness of creativity in terms of fluency, flexibility, detail and originality dimensions. According to this purpose, the study; the quantum-size pre-test-final test is established as a mixed method in the form of a single group of semi-experimental model, and the quality-size action research. The study group consists of 37 students studying in Primary School 3rd grade. In the quantitative part of the study, the Torrance Creativity Test Form was used as a measurement tool in determining the levels of creativity, while in the qualification part, the student activity paperwork, student self-evaluation forms, focused group conversation audio recordings and the researcher's journal were used in order to provide a detailed study of the development of the dimensions of creativity. The research has concluded that the 'Think Skills Program' has developed students' creative thinking skills.
