Sosyal çatışma kavramı özellikle 1950’li yıllardan sonra sosyolojik teoriye hâkimiyet kuran ve çatışmayı toplumsal süreçleri baltalayan bir öge olarak aktaran işlevselci yaklaşımları eleştirmek adına eleştirel teoriyi yeniden yorumlayan kuramcılar tarafından yoğun bir biçimde gündeme getirilmiştir. Aynı şekilde çatışma kavramının, sosyolojik bir kurum olan din ile ilişkisi sosyal bilim araştırmalarında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu çalışmada sosyolojik bir teori olan çatışma teorisi ve din ilişkisi Matürîdî düşünce bağlamında yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Genel ve teorik bir çatışma ve din ilişkisi araştırmasından ziyade çatışma kuramı çerçevesinde bir mezhebin sosyolojik ve teolojik refleksleri anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışma, sosyal çatışma ve din ilişkisi çerçevesinde Matürîdî düşünce geleneğini referans alarak grup içi ve grup dışı dini çatışmayı anlamayı amaçlamıştır. Bunun için öncelikle çatışma ve din ilişkisi irdelenmiş ardından Hanefî düşüncede mütekellim- fakih ayrımı üzerine odaklanılmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi ve tarihsel dokümantasyon tekniği kullanılmıştır
The concept of social conflict has been widely developed, especially after the 1950s, by theorists who reinterpreted the critical theory in order to criticize the functional approaches that dominated the sociological theory and transmitted conflict as an object of social processes. Similarly, the relationship of the concept of conflict with the religion, which is a sociological institution, has an important place in social science research. In this study, the theory of conflict and the religious relationship, which is a sociological theory, was attempted to be interpreted in the context of the Mathuristic thought. Instead of the study of a general and theoretical conflict and religious relationship, the theory of conflict was attempted to understand the sociological and theological reflections of a discipline. In the context of the study, social conflict and religious relationship, the Maturidian thought tradition has been referred to in order to understand the religious conflict within and outside the group. For this reason, the conflict and the religious relationship were first drawn up and then the Hanefî thought was focused on the mutual-faith distinction. The concept of social conflict has been heavily brought to the agenda by theorists who reinterpret critical theory to criticize functionalist approaches that dominate sociological theory and transmit conflict as an element that undermines social processes, especially after the 1950s. Likewise, the relationship of the concept of conflict with religion as a sociological institution has an important place in social science research. In this study, the relationship between conflict theory and religion, which is a sociological theory, is trying to be interpreted in the context of Maturid thought. Rather than general and theoretical research on the relationship between conflict and religion, the sociological and theological reflexes of a sect were tried to be understood within the framework of conflict theory. The study aimed to understand the religious conflict within and outside the group, concerning the Maturîdî thought tradition within the framework of the relationship between social conflict and religion. For this, first of all, the relationship between conflict and religion was examined, and then the focus was on the distinction between mutakellim and faqih in Hanafi thought. The qualitative research method and historical documentation technique were used in the study.
