Abstract:

Identification of species and species that are ecologically suitable is extremely important in terms of production, sustainability and economics. In this context, the study included the results of the local adaptation of three different varieties of apples grown in the ecological conditions of Isparta (‘Arabica’, ‘Fuji Kiku’ and ‘Jonagold’). Also, among the characteristics studied, the correlations were calculated, the potential for these characteristics to be treated together was revealed. Full flowering was first observed in the "Jonagold" variety (17.04), and it was also found that the most recent "Fuji Kiku" variety (22.09), which was collected, also took the longest time (156 days) to reach the harvest positive. The highest yield per tree is obtained from the variety 'Arabica' with 22.35 kg of tree-1, while 'Jonagold' 13. 68 kg of tree-1 was found at the lowest value in terms of this feature. From the pomological characteristics, the lowest 'Fuji Kiku' and the highest 'Jonagold' varieties measure the fruit in, length and weight characteristics, and were identified in the range of 66.44-73.17 mm, 55.52-63.34 mm and 134.11-183.11 g. While the negative correlation between the yield and the length of the fruit (-0.33) and the weight (-0.19) is detected, the indicated pomological characteristics have been found in a positive relationship with the top value of the crop, the amount of vibrable acid and the characteristics of the time spent in the harvest from full flowering. According to the results obtained, it can be said that the most suitable variety for frequent planting is 'Arabica', while in terms of fruit size, weight and color values, the 'Jonagold' variety is in the forefront.
