Bu çalışmanın amacı sınıf öğretmenlerinin derslerinde teknoloji kullanım düzeylerini ve çocukların karşılaştıkları çevrimiçi risklere yönelik algılarını çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelemektir. Çalışmada var olan durumu ortaya koymak için tarama modeline dayalı betimsel yöntem benimsenmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini, Antalya’daki ilkokullarda 3. ve 4. sınıf öğretmenleri oluşmaktadır. Araştırma örneklemini ise, evrenden amaçlı örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen aynı ildeki, Konyaaltı ve Muratpaşa ilçelerinde yer alan ilkokullarda 3. ve 4. sınıfı okutan toplam 250 ilkokul öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veriler (Dönmez, 2015) “Çocuk ve Ergenlerin Karşılaştığı İnternet Risklerine Yönelik Algı Ölçeği” ile Öksüz ve Ak (2010) tarafından geliştirilen “Teknoloji Kullanım Düzeyi Belirleme Ölçeği” ölçekleri kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma için toplanan verileri analiz etmek için SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Bulgular, araştırma kapsamındaki sınıf öğretmenlerinin derslerinde bilgisayar, internet, video oynatıcılar, data projektörü gibi teknolojileri ve kelime işlemci, veri sunumu gibi yazılımları daha çok kullandıkları görülmüştür. Cinsiyet değişkeni açısından kadın sınıf öğretmenlerinin risk algılarının, erkek sınıf ğretmenlerinden daha yüksek olduğu sonucu elde edilmiştir. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin güvenli internet kullanımı ile ilgili eğitim alma durumları ve okuttukları sınıf düzeyleri açısından internet ortamında yer alan risklere yönelik algılarında bir değişimin olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to study the levels of technology use in classmates of teachers and their perceptions of the online risks children encounter from a variety of variables. Imaginary method is adopted based on the scan model to reveal the situation that exists in the study. The universe of research consists of 3rd and 4th-class teachers in the primary schools in Antalya. The research sample is made up of a total of 250 primary school teachers who study 3rd and 4th classes in the same province, located in the districts of Konyaaltı and Muratpaşa, determined by the method of sample for the purpose of the universe. The data (Dönmez, 2015) was collected using the scales of "Technology Use Level Determination Scale" developed by Outside and Ak (2010) with the "Internet Risk Sensitivity Scale for Children and Adults" and the "Technology Use Level Determination Scale". The SPSS package program has been used to analyze the data collected for the research. The findings have found that classmates in the field of research use more technologies such as computers, internet, video players, data projectors, and software such as word processors, data presentation. In terms of gender variation, the result is that the risk perceptions of women class teachers are higher than men class teachers. The conclusion was that there was no change in the perception of the risks in the internet environment in terms of the educational conditions and the class levels they studied regarding the secure use of the internet.
The aim of this study is to examine in terms of various variables the primary school teachers’ level of technology use and their perceptions of the online risks children face. Descriptive method based on scanning model was used to reveal the existing situation in the study. The universe of the research consists of 3rd and 4th grade teachers in primary schools in Antalya. The research sample consists of 250 primary school teachers who teach the 3rd and 4th grades in primary schools located in Konyaaltı and Muratpaşa districts in the same province, which is determined by sampling method. Data were collected by using the ‘Perception Scale for Internet Risks Faced by Children and Adolescents’, devepoped by Dönmez (2015), and ‘Technology Usage Level Determination Scale’, developed by Öksüz and Ak (2010). The data collected were analyzed using the SPSS software. Findings showed that classroom teachers use more in their lessons the technologies such as computer, internet, video players, and data projector, and the softwares such as word processor and data presentation. In terms of gender variable, it was concluded that the female classroom teachers' risk perceptions were higher than the male classroom teachers’. It is concluded that there is no diffrerence in the perceptions of classroom teachers about the risks in the internet environment in terms of the class levels they teach and of whether they have received education on the use of secure internet.
