Abstract:

This research was carried out with an image research approach to study whether there is a meaningful relationship between the constant levels of anxiety, the levels of uncertainty, and the decision-making behavior. The research was carried out with students studying in the Bachelor's Programs of the University of Ege. The data collected from a total of 105 participants, including 43 men and 62 women, were analyzed by the appropriate sampling path because the data collection process requires individual application for each participant. The study included Information Form, Continuous Anxiety Scale, Uncertainty Intolerance Scale (Long Form) and Iowa Gambling Test. The relationships between the constant level of anxiety, the level of uncertainty and decision-making behavior have been studied by the Pearson moment correlation ratio analysis. Finally, this study has not found a meaningful relationship between the levels of intolerance to constant anxiety and uncertainty of university students and the performance of the Iowa Gambling Test, in other words, the decision-making behavior. In addition, university students have found that there is a meaningful relationship between the levels of intolerance to constant anxiety and uncertainty. It is believed that using the Iowa Gambling Test with other samples and similar research in other populations will help to better understand the decision-making behavior and related variables in Turkey.
