Abstract Countries that want to increase their international trade and grow have recently attached importance to logistics activities such as infrastructure, customs, international shipping, quality of logistics services, tracking and traceability of shipment and timely delivery. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of logistics performance index on economic growth in newly industrialized countries. In this context, the effect of the lojistics performance index published by the World Bank between 2007-2018 on economic growth was tested with panel data regression analysis. Foreign direct investments are used as control variable in the study. F, Breush-Pagan LM and Hausman tests were performed to determine the panel data regression estimator. As a result of these tests, it was decided that the fixed effect regression model should be used. As a result of the fixed effect regression analysis, they determined that the logistics performance index and foreign direct investment in the newly industrialized countries have a positive and statistically significant relationship on economic growth.
