The concept of medium-scale local government refers to local governments that have a population of less than 750 thousand and do not have the identity of a metropolitan municipality. In our country, this type of local governments continue their activities within the boundaries of the law numbered 5393. It carries out all the land and management planning in the region, especially within the local government, through the zoning and survey project directorates established within its body.
