Abstract:

It is said that they alone have no linguistic significance, and that they are associated with them in order to support other meaningful objects (word or word groups) within the whole language, and that they make the appearance of new word spots and establish a meaning relationship in this framework. For the edate, it is actually an edate that has increased the area of use with the expansion of the meaning of giving the meaning of "for the reason". For this study, the point of identification of the meaning of the edition has been used by previous research. The functions passed in different researches were analyzed together - in a sense compiled - and a table of meaning interests made up of eight subjects. There are eight functions of the edat and twenty different uses associated with them. In this study, the terms made for the edat term, the texts made for the edat, then the opinions on the origin of the edat were referred to. The work is aimed at determining the functions of the edition and was carried out through these works that were given in the historical Turkish languages. Cull Tigin, Wisdom Kağan and Tonyukuk (Orhun Turkish); Altun Yaruk, Haustuanift, Good and Evil Prince Story and Irk Bitig (Old Uyghur Turkish); Kutadgu Bilig (Karahanlı Turkish); Mu'înü'l-Mürîd and ıṣaṣu'l-Enbiyā (Harezm Turkish); Gülistan Translation and Codex Cumanicus (Kıpçak Turkish); Sekkaki Divanı and Şecere-i Terākime (Chağatay Turkish); Ahmed-i Dâi Divânı and Dede Korkut Book (Old Anadolu Turkish).
