Fatih Sultan Mehmet’in vefatının ardından II. Bayezid ile kardeşi Cem Sultan arasında yaşanan saltanat kavgasını II. Bayezid kazanmış ve saltanat koltuğuna oturmuştur. Tarihî kaynaklarda ve araştırmalarda daha çok konunun siyâsî ve askerî sebep ve aktörleri üzerinde durulmaktadır. Farklı alanlardaki kaynaklara bakarak bu mücadelenin başka kahraman ve unsurları yanında farklı toplum katmanlarında nasıl algılandığına dair bilgilere rastlamak mümkündür. Döneme ilişkin bilgi veren tasavvuf tarihi kaynakları bize böyle bir imkân sunmaktadır. Bu kaynaklara göre II. Bayezid şehzade olarak bulunduğu Amasya’da Çelebi Halîfe adıyla bilinen Halvetiyye tarikatı şeyhi Cemâl-i Halvetî ile tanışmış ve onun manevî desteğini görmüştür. Saltanatının önündeki engellerin kaldırılması için ondan manevî yardım talebinde bulunmuştur. Şeyh de -bu işlere karışmak istemese de- onun ricasını yerine getirmiştir. Bayezid bu sayede saltanatın başına geçmiştir. Tasavvuf kaynaklarındaki bilgi ve algı böyledir. Bu çalışmada II. Bayezid’in saltanata geçiş sürecinde Halvetiyye tarikatı şeyhi Çelebi Halîfe ile Amasya’da başlayıp İstanbul’da devam eden ilişkileri üzerinde durulacaktır.
After the death of Fatih Sultan Mehmet, a sultanate quarrel broke out between Bayezid II and Cem Sultan. This quarrel was won by Bayezid. But how? In historical sources and articles, this topic is discussed father more for political and military reasons and actors. In different sources, it is possible to find the other heroes, the elements and its reflections in different layers of society for this struggle. There is important information on this subject in sūfī history sources. According to these sources Bayezid and Jamāl-i Halvetī met in Amasya. Jamâl-i Halvetī was a sheikh of the Halvatiyya sect and well-known by the name of Çelebi Khalîfa. Jamāl Halvetī supported Bayezid spiritually. Bayezid wanted Jamāl to help him against the enemies of him. He wanted him to prevent his brother Cem from becoming sultan and to become sultan himself. Jamāl was not willing but complied with his request. Bayezid ascended the throne by his supporting. The story is told so in sūfī history sources. This article will focus on the relations between Bayezid and Jamāl-i Halvatī on the way to the sultanate from Amasya to İstanbul.
