Abstract:

This study examined the financial performance of the Carrefoursa market chain operating in the retail sector in Turkey in the 2014-2018 period. As the assessment criterion, 12 financial ratings are used, while the level of importance of the ratings is determined by the Entropian weighting method, the ranking is determined by the COPRAS method. The highest level of importance is the highest level of importance, while the lowest level of importance is the highest level of importance. In the end of the analysis, 2015 was the most successful year, and 2017 was the most failed year. The biggest impact on financial failure was the excessive decline in the self-source profit rate. This has also caused a reduction in the net rate. Of course, it can be said that it was the result of the deterioration in economic indicators seen after the 2016 military coup attempt. Especially in 2016 the decline in GDP and the reduction in consumer spending prepared for the failure in 2017.
