So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Beydağ, Ege bölgesinde, Küçük Menderes nehri havzasında, deniz seviyesinden 235 m. râkımda İzmir’in bir ilçesidir. Kuzeyi Bozdağlar, güneyi Aydın sıradağları ile çevrelenmiş olan ovanın üzerinde yer almaktadır. Topraklarında, eski ve ortaçağa ait olmak üzere, ‘Palaiapolis’ adlı kent, kale kalıntıları, bazilika, kaya mezarları ve tümülüsler barındıran ilçe, bir Türk yerleşim birimi olarak ‘Balyanbolu/Balyambolu’ isimleriyle anılmış, şimdiki adı 1926 yılında güneyinde yer alan Bey dağlarına izafeten verilmiştir. Halen, 12.276 (ADNKS-2015) kişilik toplam nüfusu (2012 sayımına göre; ilçe merkezi 5.612, kırsal nüfus 6.954) bulunan Beydağ’ın 21 adet köyü mevcuttur.
