Gastric xanthomas are uncommon benign lesions that are macroscopically well-demarcated yellow or yellow-white plaques and are microscopically formed by collections of foamy macrophages. Because gastric hyperplastic polyps may rarely be associated with xanthelasma, we aimed to report 2 cases of combined lesions showing features of gastric xanthelasma and hyperplastic polyps. The patients were 1 men and 1 women aged 46 and 56 years, the lesions were located in fundus and antrum, respectively, and measured 3 to 4 mm. Any patients showed chronic gastritis, intestinal metaplasia, atrophy and evidence of Helicobacter pylori infection.
