Abstract:

Ethics in general can be defined as a set of principles and rules that involve the good or bad, right or wrong assessment of people’s behavior in the past, present and future and which are expected to apply everywhere in the world. In this study, examples related to the perspective of internet news and news sites published in Turkey were evaluated. The study conducted a site review on topics such as ethics, ethics, professional ethics, media ethics, ethical issues of internet communication. The reviewed news was shown to serve a lot of information and entertainment for the purpose of informing the public. In this article, we also discussed the positive and negative aspects of internet news from the point of view of media ethics. In the study we are looking for answers to questions such as whether the internet news sites comply with the media ethics values, many examples have revealed once again how these values are violated.

In this study, Internet journalism and broadcasting in Turkey evaluations, accompanied by examples of internet news sites was done with a view to journalistic ethics. In the study, the subject of ethics, ethics, professional ethics, media ethics, ethics issues of internet journalism were examined. It has been seen that the news reports serve the press service rather than informing the public and serve the purpose of entertaining.
