Abstract:

This study, which analyzes the articles on religious education published in academic magazines, covers the years 1925-2020. There are 2081 articles published in this date. These articles are 60 in the Faculty of Theology magazines, and 144 in other magazines publishing in the field of social sciences. Research is a bibliometric analysis study based on content analysis/document review. It is a type of study in which data is interpreted through numerical analysis. Many findings have been made in the study. The publications of the article showed significant increases after the 2000s, especially at its peak in the last two years. The average annual publication in the last five years is 125. The most religious article published in the magazine is the Dianet Ilmi Magazine with 172 articles. 40% of the methods used in articles are based on literature study. In recent years there have been significant increases in the ampric methods, including in the quality studies in the beginning. The subject network of articles is quite broad and focuses most on the field of religious education. More than 10% of the articles are co-authored works. In recent years, joint writers’ work has been more preferred in ampric method-based work. Two writers’ articles represent the majority of this type of work. A significant majority of the articles were printed by the Academics of Religious Education, while some were printed by researchers working in different fields of theology and other social sciences. Although the level of writing in a foreign language has increased, it is not sufficient.
