Uluslararası seviyede yayılan Covid-19 salgını tüm dünyada olduğu gibi ülkemizde de etkisini göstermiş, salgının yayılma hızını kontrol altına alabilmek adına bir takım kısıtlamalar getirilmiştir. Başta ulaşım olmak üzere, imalat, perakende ticaret, sanayi ve hizmet sektörleri gibi birçok alanda faaliyetler kısmen azaltılmış veya normalleşme sürecine girilene kadar askıya alınmıştır. Eğitim sektörü de küresel pandemiden oldukça etkilenmiş, 2019-2020 Eğitim Öğretim Dönemi Güz Yarıyılında yüz yüze olarak başlayan eğitim, pandemi ilanından itibaren ilköğretimden lisansüstü seviyeye kadar tüm kademelerde uzaktan öğretim yöntemi ile devam ettirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında pandemi döneminde eğitim görerek her iki öğretim yöntemini de deneyimleyen Çukurova Üniversitesi İç Mimarlık Bölümü öğrencilerinin Teknik Resim dersi özelinde yürütülen uzaktan eğitimle ilgili görüşleri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin öğretim yöntemleri hakkında karşılaştırmalı geri bildirimleri yorumlanarak, uzaktan eğitim sisteminin olumlu ve olumsuz yönleri ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada öğrencilerin Teknik Resim dersinde izlenen uzaktan öğretim yöntemini olumlu olarak değerlendirdikleri, ancak geleneksel stüdyo yöntemi ve uzaktan öğretim yöntemleri kıyaslandığında, baskın olarak stüdyo yöntemini tercih ettikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Olumlu ve olumsuz yönleriyle birlikte değerlendiğinde uzaktan eğitim sisteminin Teknik Resim dersindeki öğrenme etkinliğini destekleyici niteliğinin yadsınamaz bir gerçek olduğu söylenebilir. Her iki yöntemin olumlu yönlerinin birleştirilebileceği karma bir öğretim yöntemiyle derslerdeki motivasyon, başarı ve öğrenme düzeyi arttırılabileceği öngörülmektedir.
The Covid-19 epidemic, which is spread internationally, has shown its effects in our country as well as in the world, and a set of restrictions have been introduced to control the spread rate of the epidemic. In many areas, including mainly transport, such as manufacturing, retail, industry and service sectors, activities have been partially reduced or suspended until they entered the normalization process. The educational sector has also been greatly affected by the global pandemic, the 2019-2020 Education Teaching Period begins in the Güz Semester, the education has been continued with the method of distance teaching in all stages from the pandemic announcement to the primary education to the postgraduate level. In the framework of the study, students of the Department of Interior Architecture of the University of Çukurova, who experienced both teaching methods by seeing education during the pandemic period, have studied the views on remote education carried out in the technical painting course. Also, by interpreting student comparative feedback on teaching methods, the positive and negative aspects of the remote education system have been tried to be revealed. The study found that students positively assessed the method of remote teaching followed in the Technical Painting course, but compared to the traditional studio method and the method of remote teaching, they dominated the studio method. When evaluated along with its positive and negative aspects, it can be said that the quality of the remote learning system that supports the learning effectiveness in the Technical Picture course is a remarkable fact. It is predicted that a mixed teaching method in which the positive aspects of both methods can be combined will increase the level of motivation, success and learning in the classes.
The Covid-19 epidemic spreading at the international level, had its effect in our country as well as all over the world, and some restrictions were imposed in order to control the rate of spread of the epidemic. Activities in many areas such as transportation, manufacturing, retail trade, industry and service sectors were partially reduced or suspended until the normalization process started. Education sector also affected by the global pandemic and the education started face-to-face in the 2019-2020 Education Term Fall semester, has been continued by distance education at all levels from primary education to graduate level since the pandemic announcement. Within the scope of the study, the opinions of the Cukurova University, Department of Interior Architecture students, who experienced both education methods by training in pandemic period, about the distance education carried out in the Technical Drawing course were examined. In addition, the positive and negative aspects of the distance education method were tried to be revealed by interpreting the comparative feedbacks of the students about their education methods. In the study, it was concluded that the students evaluate the distance education method followed in the Technical Drawing course as positively, however, when the traditional studio method and distance education methods are compared that the studio method is predominantly preferred. When evaluated together with its positive and negative aspects, it can be said that the supporting feature of the distance education method in the Technical Drawing course is an undeniable fact. The motivation, achievement and learning level in the lessons can be increased with a mixed education method in which the positive aspects of both methods can be combined.
