Abstract:

İşletmelerin çevresel göstergelerinden biri olan sera gazı beyanları tek başına bir rapor halinde ya da sürdürülebilirlik raporlarının/entegre faaliyet raporlarının bir parçası olarak hedef kullanıcılara sunulabilmektedir. İşletmelerin hazırladıkları sera gazı beyanlarının doğruluğunun bağımsız bir kuruluş tarafından denetlenmesi hedef kullanıcıların bu bilgilere olan güvenini artırmaktadır. Sera gazı beyanları gibi finansal olmayan bilgilerin denetimi güvence denetimleriyle sağlanabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, güvence denetiminin unsurlarına ve bu bağlamda ülkemizde henüz yayımlanmayan ve pek fazla bilinmeyen Uluslararası Güvence Denetimi Standardı 3410’a (GDS 3410) göre sera gazı beyanlarına ilişkin güvence oluşturulmasına yönelik hususlara yer verilmiştir.
