Bu araştırmanın amacı, eğitim fakültelerinde sosyal alanlar eğitimi bölümlerinde derslere gören branş öğretim elemanlarının, sınıf içi öğretim sürecinde sorulardan yararlanma yeterliklerini belirlemektir. Sorulardan yararlanma alt boyutları başlıca, soru hazırlama, soru sorma ve geribildirim verme başlıkları altında incelenmiştir. Araştırma, tarama modelinde yürütülmüştür. Veriler, Fırat Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde tezsiz yüksek lisans derslerine giren öğretim elemanlarının öğrenciler tarafından bir ölçekle gözlenmesi ile elde edilmiştir. Gözlem, farklı branşlarda öğrenim gören lisans üstü eğitim öğrencileri tarafından yapılmıştır. Gözlem formu, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonunda; öğretim elemanlarının boru hazırlama, soru sorma ve geribildirim verme uygulamalarında bazı yanlışlıklar yaptıkları belirlenmiştir. En önemli yanlışlar, soru hazırlama konusunda yapılmaktadır. Belirtilen alt boyutlar arasında anlamlı ve pozitif ilişkiler bulunmaktadır. Öğretim elemanlarının branşlarına göre sorulardan yararlanma uygulamaları arasında farklılıklar belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca öğretim elemanları, sorulardan yararlanma uygulamaları konusunda öğrencilerin cinsiyetlerine göre farklı tutum ve davranış göstermemektedirler.
The goal of this study is to determine the capacities of branch lecturers at Faculties of Education Social Sciences Teaching Department during the in-class teaching process. The sub dimensions of utilizing from the questions were examined in subheadings such as preparing questions, asking questions and giving feedbacks. The study is carried out as sweeping. Data were gathered with observation scale by students. The students obseved the lecturers who were teaching at the classes of mastery graduate, without thesis, subjects. The observation was done by postgraduate students at different branches. The observation form was developed by researchers. At the end of the research, it is detected that lecturers do some mistakes at preparing questions, asking questions and giving feedback. The most important mistakes are made preparing questions. There are meaningful and positive relationships among the sub dimensions. Some differences about the lecturers’ question preparing applications were detected. Besides, the lecturers don’t behave differently about the utilizing from the questions according to the sex of the students
