Özet:

Özet İnsanoğlunun yaşamına anlam katan hayatını güzelleştiren değerler vardır. Bu değerlerin başında gelenlerden birisi ise barıştır. Barış kavramı bireylerin diğer bireylerle aralarındaki ilişkilerinde olması arzu edilen bir değerdir. Barış sadece savaşların ve şiddetin yokluğu anlamına gelmemektedir. Bununla beraber huzur, güven, refah, adalet, eşitlik gibi kavramları da içermektedir. Barış aynı zamanda insanın kendi iç huzurunu da içerir. Barış, günümüzde uluslararası politikada ve günlük yaşantıda en fazla ihtiyaç duyulan olgulardan biri olmasına rağmen gerekli ilgiyi görmemektedir. Ayrıca, bireyler de çoğu zaman günlük hayatlarında uzlaşıyı nasıl sağlayacaklarını bilememektedirler. Bu çalışmada, üniversite öğrencilerinin, toplumsal barışa ilişkin görüş ve düşüncelerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, 2014-2015 öğretim yılında, Bingöl Üniversitesi’nin değişik fakülte ve bölümlerinde öğrenim görmekte olan öğrenciler üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan anket soruları, ilk önce üniversite etik kurulunun onayından geçmiştir. Araştırmaya, 153’ü kız öğrenci,  132’si ise erkek öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 285 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrenciler, random yöntemiyle seçilmiştir. Anket soruları, 5 tanesi açık uçlu, 3 tanesi de kapalı uçlu olmak üzere toplam 8 adet sorudan oluşmuştur. Anket sorularından elde edilen veriler,  tablolara dönüştürülerek verilerin frekansları çıkarılmıştır. Akabinde de maddeler ayrı ayrı yorumlanmıştır.  Yapılan araştırma sonuçlarına göre; üniversite öğrencilerinin büyük bir çoğunluğu ülkemizde toplumsal barışa olan inancını korudukları, barıştan yana olduklarını, toplumsal barışın önündeki en büyük engelin “ayrımcılık” olduğunu, ülkemizde herkesin eşit haklara sahip olduğuna inanmadıklarını, toplusal barış önünde dış güçlerin önemli bir tehdit unsuru olduğunu ve toplumsal barışın sağlanmasında “adalet ve eşitlik” ilkesinin önemli olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. A STUDY ABOUT THE DETERMINATION OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS'S PERCEPTION ON SOCIAL PEACE: THE SAMPLE OF BİNGÖL UNIVERSITY Abstract There are some values adding a meaning into human’s life and beautifying it. Of these values, peace is the leading one. The concept of peace is a value one wishes to have between individuals. Peace does not only mean lack of wars and violence, but it also contains such concepts as comfort, trust, prosperity, equality, justice and so on. Peace has also quietude in itself. Although peace is one of the phenomena needed most both in international relations and in our daily lives, this is a topic which does not receive the attention which it deserves. Also, notable that many people also experience difficulties in achieving consensus in their daily lives. In this study, it is aimed to determine the vision and thought of the university students on the social peace. Research was conducted on the students who are studying in different faculties and departments of Bingöl University in 2014-2015 academic year. First of all, questionnaire which prepared by the researcher, was approved by the university ethic committee. 153 female students and 132 male students, total 300 students have participated in this survey. Students, who participated in the study, were selected through random sampling method. 5 open-ended and 3 closed end, total 8 survey questions were given to the students. The data, which obtained from the questionnaire, has been reavealed into data frequency within the table. Subsequently, the articles were separately interpreted. According to the survey results; the vast majority of university students keep their faith on social peace in our country, they are seeking peace, they believe that the biggest obstacle in front of the social peace is "discrimination", they do not believe that everyone has equal rights in our country, they state that external powers are a significant threat for social peace and lastly they indicate that "justice and equality" principles are essentailness on the achievement of the social peace.
