Bu çalışmanın amacı, çalışanların yenilikçi ve girişimci davranışlar sergilemesi noktasında kişilik özelliklerinin rolünü ortaya koymak ve psikolojik sermayenin aracılık etkisini ölçmektir. Başka bir ifadeyle, bu çalışmada çalışanların kişilik özelliklerinin (dışadönüklük, uyumluluk, sorumluluk, nevrotik ve gelişime açık) yenilikçi ve girişimci davranışlarına olan etkisini ölçmek ve ilgili değişkenler arasındaki ilişkide psikolojik sermayenin aracı rolünü keşfetmek amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisinde çalışan 343 kişiye ulaşılmış ve anket aracılığı ile veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 20.0 ve Amos 16.0 programlarından yararlanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda, kişilik özelliklerinin (dışadönüklük, uyumluluk, sorumluluk, nevrotik ve gelişime açık) her birinin çalışanların girişimci ve yenilikçi davranışları üzerinde pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Uyumluluk kişilik özelliğinin çalışanların girişimci davranışları üzerinde diğerlerine göre nispeten daha fazla etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, gelişime açık kişilik özelliğinin de çalışanların yenilikçi davranışları üzerinde diğerlerine göre nispeten daha fazla etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Psikolojik sermayenin aracılık etkisine yönelik sonuçlar sorumlu, gelişime açık ve nevrotik kişilik özellikleri ile girişimci davranış arasındaki ilişkide psikolojik sermayenin tam aracılık rolünün olduğu, dışadönüklük ve uyumluluk kişilik özellikleri ile girişimci davranış arasındaki ilişkide psikolojik sermayenin kısmi aracılık rolünün olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca, uyumlu, sorumlu ve nevrotik kişilik özellikleri ile yenilikçi davranış arasındaki ilişkide psikolojik sermayenin tam aracılık rolünün olduğu, gelişime açıklık ve dışadönüklük kişilik özellikleri ile yenilikçi davranış arasındaki ilişkide psikolojik sermayenin kısmi aracılık rolünün olduğunu göstermektedir.
The aim of this study is to reveal the role of personality traits in terms of innovative and entrepreneurial behaviours of employees and to measure the mediating effect of psychological capital. In other words, this study, it is aimed to measure the effect of employees' personality traits (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience) on innovative and entrepreneurial behaviours and to explore the mediating role of psychological capital in the relationship between related variables. For this aim, 343 people working in the Soil Products Office were reached and data were collected through a questionnaire. The data were analysed using SPSS 20.0 and Amos 16.0 programs. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that each of the personality traits (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience) has a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial and innovative behaviours of the employees. It has been determined that the agreeable personality trait has a relatively greater effect on the entrepreneurial behaviour of the employees than the others. However, it has been determined that the personality trait open to experience has a relatively greater effect on the innovative behaviour of the employees than the others. Results for the mediating effect of psychological capital; It shows that psychological capital has a full mediating role in the relationship between conscientious, openness to experience and neurotic personality traits and entrepreneurial behaviour, and that psychological capital has a partial mediating role in the relationship between extraversion and agreeable personality traits and entrepreneurial behaviour. In addition, it shows that psychological capital has a full mediating role in the relationship between agreeable, conscientious and neurotic personality traits and innovative behaviour, and that psychological capital has a partial mediating role in the relationship between openness to experience and extraversion personality traits and innovative behaviour.
