The active role of man in the geographical environment preserves his importance today, as it was in the past. The nature of the lands in the different elevation stages affects human and economic activities and also determines the economic activities to be carried out. Kahramanmaraş's Andrin district, selected as the work area, has a very rich and characteristic character with its geographical structure. This feature causes the rise of the district from the south to the north to gradually increase and consequently the rise of the stairs to show changes in short distances. The surrounding area of the Aslantaş Barj, located in the south of the Andrin district, has also attracted the population with agricultural activities. The 200-1200 m elevation, where the population and agriculture are on the forefront, is a generation where the land cover is widely used. In the district, from the elevation of 1500 m, it is seen that geographical conditions determine human activity. The fact that the province north generally forms a mountain and fragmented morphological structure has restricted the economic activities carried out in this area. This situation has shrinked the settlements and agricultural areas, expanding the use of forest areas. The upgrade patterns map, prepared using the SYM (Digital Rise Model) data, is collapsed with the CORINE land use data sets by transmitting to the numerical environment with the ArcGIS 10.5 software. This change that arises depending on the rise has enabled the development of a spatial-oriented perspective in geographical planning studies.

The fact that the north of the district forms a mountainous and fragmented morphological structure has limited the economic activities carried out in this area. While this situation narrowed the settlement and agricultural areas, it extended the use of forest areas. The elevation steps map prepared using SYM (Digital Elevation Model) data was transferred to the digital environment with ArcGIS 10.5 software and coincided with CORINE land use datasets. This change, which occurred due to the altitude, allowed the development of an location oriented perspective in geographical planning studies.
