Liselerde Alan Seçimi Sürecinde Sinema Teknolojilerinin Kullanımı: Rehberlik Hizmetlerinde Alternatif Bir Bireyi Tanıma Tekniği

Eğitimde ebeveynler, öğretmenler ve okul psikolojik danışmanları anahtar bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu ana paydaşlar, öğrencilerin eğitim ortamında yaşadığı sorunlar ve çeşitli konulardaki duygu ve düşünceleri hakkında daha ayrıntılı bilgiye sahip olursa, eğitim öğretim sürecinde daha etkin rol oynayabilmekte ve öğrencilerin geleceği ile ilgili önemli kararlarda daha destekleyici olabilmektedir. Liselerde 10. sınıfta yapılan alan seçimi, öğrencilerin mesleki geleceği için kritik öneme sahiptir. Bu süreçte öğrenciler okul psikolojik danışmanlarının, öğretmenlerinin ve ebeveynlerinin desteğine ihtiyaç duyarlar. Kararını verememiş öğrenciler açısından son derece zor olan bu süreçte okul psikolojik danışmanlarının, öğretmenlerin ve ebeveynlerin tutum ve davranışları bu öğrenciler üzerinde dikkate değer bir ağırlığa sahiptir. Belgesel filmler, insanların yaşantılarını doğal ortamlarında inceleyerek, toplumsal belleği kayıt altına almaktadır. Bu filmlerin çözümlenmesi, kültürel çalışmalar yürüten araştırmacılara yeni bakış açıları kazandırmakta ve gelecek nesillere aktarılan zengin bir araştırma kaynağı olma özelliği taşımaktadır. Bu çalışma, keşif yöntemli belgesel film türü anlayışıyla lise öğrencilerinin alan seçimi hususunda yaşadıkları sorunların psikolojik ve sosyolojik temellerini araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu kapsamda öğrencilerin alan seçiminde yaşadığı sorunlar, öğrenciler alanını seçerken göz önünde bulundurduğu faktörler ve öğrencilerin bu kritik karar ile ilgili duygu ve düşünceleri sinema teknolojisinin imkânlarıyla kayıt altına alınarak belgesel bir film çekilmiş olup; çekilen filmin betimsel çözümlemesi araştırmacılar tarafından yapılmıştır. Bu yönüyle bu çalışma, öğrencilerin okullarda yaşadığı sorunların anlaşılması için sinema teknolojilerinin kullanıldığı alternatif bir bireyi tanıma tekniğini de içeriğinde barındırmaktadır.

Parents, teachers and school psychological consultants play a key role in education. If these main stakeholders have more detailed knowledge about the problems that students experience in the educational environment and their feelings and thoughts on a variety of topics, they can play a more effective role in the teaching process and be more supporting in the important decisions about the students’ future. The choice of fields in the 10th grade in high school has a critical importance for the future of the students' professional. In this process, students need the support of school psychological consultants, teachers and parents. The attitudes and behaviors of the school psychological counselors, teachers and parents in this process, which is extremely difficult for the students who have failed to make a decision, have a considerable weight on these students. Documentary films record social memory by studying people’s lives in their natural environments. The analysis of these films brings new perspectives to researchers conducting cultural studies and has the ability to be a rich source of research to be transmitted to future generations. This study aims to explore the psychological and sociological foundations of the problems that high school students experience with the understanding of the discovery method of documentary film type. In this context, the problems that students experience in the field selection, the factors that students take into account when choosing the field and the feelings and thoughts of students about this critical decision are recorded with the possibilities of the cinema technology and a documentary film is filmed; the imaging analysis of the film is made by the researchers. In this regard, this study also contains the technique of recognizing an alternative individual in which cinema technologies are used to understand the problems students experience in the schools.

The field selection made in the 10th grade in high schools is a critical decision for the professional future of the students. In this process, students need the support of their school counselors, teachers and parents. The attitudes and behaviors of school counselors, teachers and parents have a significant weight on these students in this process, which is extremely difficult for students who have not made their decision.Documentary films record the social memory by examining the lives of people in their natural environments. The analysis of these films gives new perspectives to researchers carrying out cultural studies and it is a rich source of research that is passed on to future generations. This study aims to investigate the psychological and sociological foundations of the problems faced by Anatolian high school students in their 10th grade field selection decisions with the discovery method of documentary film genre. In this context, a documentary film was made by record the problems experienced by the students in the selection of the field, the factors that the students consider while choosing the field and the students' feelings and thoughts about this critical decision with the cinema technology's possibilities; the descriptive analysis of the film was made by the researchers. In this respect, this study includes an alternative technique for recognizing students using cinema technologies in order to understand students' problems in schools.
