Abstract:

Abstract:

This work was carried out in a secondary area in the area of Bartin or Kozcağız. The study was conducted in the 2018 vegetation period. The aim of this study is to identify some vegetation and soil characteristics of the secondary land area in the area of Kozcağız. The land cover rate and botanical composition of the Mera vegetation have been determined and the diagnosis of plants in the vegetation has been made. Some physical-chemical land characteristics of the mer area have also been analyzed. According to the results of the study, 68 plant taxons belonging to 30 families were diagnosed in the secondary mer area. 19 of these plant taxons are one-year and 49 multi-year. 15 of the plant taxons diagnosed in the second mer area were found to be baklagillers (Fabaceae), 11 to poaceae (Poaceae) and 42 to other plant families. 10 of these plants are in the reducing, 7 multipliing and 51 invasive plants class. The land coverage rate of vegetation is calculated as 100%. According to the results of the study, 32.40% of the botanical composition was found to be bakes, 38.14% grains, and 29.46% of other families' plants. According to the average values of the soil analysis results; in the class of the second-mera area, light alkaline, medium-sized, low electrical conductivity, poor in terms of organic substance and total nitrogen content, beneficial potassium content is medium and beneficial phosphorus content is high.

Determination Of Some Characteristics Of A Secondary Rangeland In Kozcagiz Location In Bartin Province
2019

Abstract:

This research was conducted in Kozcağız of Bartın province formed secoder rangeland in 2018 vegetation period. The goal of this study was to define some vegetative and ecological characteristics of the seconder rangeland. For this purpose, all plants in the secondary pasture area were identified. Canopy coverage and botanic composition were analyzed. In addition, some physico-chemical soil properties of the seconder rangeland were determined. According to results of study, a total of 68 plant taxons were identified that they belonged to 30 plant families. They consisted of 11 grasses, 15 legumes, 42 other family taxons. Forty-nine of identified plants had perennial and the others had annual. These plants composed of 10 decreasers, 7 increasers and 51 invaders. The canopy coverage of seconder rangeland was 100 %. Botanical composition compsed of 38,14 % grasses, 32.40 % legumes and 29,46% other plant families. According to the average values of soil analysis results, the soil characteristics of the secondary pasture area was in clayey soils, slightly alkaline, moderately calcareous, low in electrical conductivity, poor in organic matter - total nitrogen content, moderate available potassium content, and high available phosphorus content. In study area, low organic matter, low total nitrogen content and clay soils are considered to be an important problem for the growth and development of plants. Organic matter should be added to the soil. Thus, the problem of organic matter and total nitrogen of the plants will be solved but also the structure of the soil will be improved.
