Türkiye Orta Doğu bölgesinin anahtar ülkesidir. Jeopolitik ve Jeostratejik konumu Türkiye’yi hem avantaj hem de dezavantajlı bir duruma getirmektedir. Bu konum Türkiye’ye “Sürekli Tehdit (Dış Tehdit)”, “Bölgesel Tehdit” ve “İç Tehdit” olarak isimlendirebileceğimiz tehditleri de beraberinde getirmektedir. Ayrıca ülkede son 30 yıldır yaşanan acı bir terör olgusu bulunmaktadır. Türkiye’de mevcut olan “yıkıcı” ve “bölücü” unsurlar dört ana bölümde toplanmaktadır. Atatürkçü Düşünce Sistemi'ni oluşturan Atatürk ilkelerini (Cumhuriyetçilik, Milliyetçilik, Halkçılık, Devletçilik, Lâiklik, İnkılâpçılık ) bazı kişi ve gruplar kötüleyip , aykırı görüşler ileri sürmektedirler. Tehditler ve çağdaşlaşma ancak gençlerin iyi yetiştirilmesi ve Atatürkçü Düşünce Sistemi’nin gücü ile etkisiz hale getirilebilir.
