Bu çalışmanın amacı, pay senetleri Borsa İstanbul’da (BİST) işlem gören otomotiv sektörü işletmelerinin 2017–2022 dönemlerine ait finansal tablo verileri kullanılarak nakit akış profillerinin tespit edilmesi ve çok kriterli karar verme tekniklerinden (ÇKKV) biri olan “Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution” (TOPSİS) yöntemi ile finansal performans analizinin yapılarak nakit akış profillerinin ve performanslarının karşılaştırılmasıdır. Analize tabi sekiz adet otomotiv işletmesinin TOPSİS yöntemi ile finansal performanslarının ölçülmesinde on bir adet finansal göstergeden faydalanılmıştır. İşletmelerin nakit akış profilleri ve finansal performans verileri, Kamuyu Aydınlatma Platformu (KAP) web sitesinden elde edilen finansal tablo verileri kullanılarak tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucuna göre, TOASO şirketi 2017, 2018 ve 2022 yıllarında en iyi finansal performansa sahip olmasına rağmen 2019, 2020 ve 2021 yıllarında son sıralarda yer almaktadır. TTRAK ve OTKAR şirketlerinin ise pandemi süresince finansal performans açısından üst sıralara tırmandığı tespit edilmiştir. Nakit akış profillerine göre bir sınıflandırma yapıldığında ise işletmelerin ilgili dönemler itibariyle genellikle profil 2, profil 4 ve profil 6 modellerine sahip oldukları gözlemlenmiştir.
The purpose of this study is to determine the cash flow profiles of the automotive sector enterprises whose shares are traded in Borsa Istanbul (BIST) by using the financial statement data for the periods 2017-2022 and to compare their cash flow profiles and performances by analyzing their financial performance with the "Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution" (TOPSIS) method, which is one of the multi-criteria decision making techniques (MCDM). Eleven financial indicators were used to measure the financial performance of eight automotive enterprises subject to the analysis with the TOPSIS method. The cash flow profiles and financial performance data of the enterprises were determined by using the financial statement data obtained from the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) website. According to the results of the study, TOASO has the best financial performance in 2017, 2018 and 2022, but ranks last in 2019, 2020 and 2021. On the other hand, TTRAK and OTKAR companies climbed to the top in terms of financial performance during the pandemic. When a classification is made according to cash flow profiles, it is observed that enterprises generally have profile 2, profile 4 and profile 6 models as of the relevant periods.
