Sosyal bilimlerle ilgili sinema filmlerinin sosyal bilgilerin disiplinlerarası mantığının kavranmasını ve sosyal bilgileri oluşturan disiplinlerin ayrıntılı şekilde öğrenilmesine olumlu etki yapacağı düşünülmektedir. Araştırmanın amacı sosyal bilgiler disiplinleriyle ilgili filmlerin sosyal bilgiler öğretimine nasıl katkı sağladığını ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bunun yanında sinema filmlerinin sosyal bilgilerde değer ve beceri öğretimindeki yeri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla sosyal bilgileri oluşturan disiplinlerden tarih, psikoloji, sosyoloji, sosyal psikoloji, coğrafya, hukuk, felsefe, arkeoloji, antropoloji ve ekonomi alanlarındaki filmler ele alınmış, izlenmiş, değerlendirilmiş, yorumlanmış, sosyal bilgiler disiplinleriyle ve sosyal bilgilerle ilişkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Muş Alparslan Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilgiler Bölümünde öğrenim gören 14 öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur ve araştırma 2020-2021 Bahar Dönemi’nde 10 hafta yürütülmüştür. Veriler yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile elde edilmiş ve içerik analizi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada sinemanın sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde önemli ve etkili olduğu, bilgilerin kalıcı şekilde öğrenilmesini sağladığı, dersi eğlenceli ve ilgi çekici hâle getirdiği, farklı bakış açıları ve yorumlama gücü kazandırdığı, derinlemesine öğrenmeyi sağladığı bulguları elde edilmiştir. Bunun yanında sinemanın sosyal bilgileri oluşturan disiplinler hakkında bilgi edinmeye, sosyal bilgilerin disiplinlerarası mantık çerçevesinde kavranılmasına, bilgilerin derinlemesine öğrenilmesine katkı sağladığı, sosyal bilgilerde beceri ve değer öğretimini olumlu etkilediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programı’nda ve sosyal bilgiler ders kitaplarında sinemayla öğretime daha fazla yer verilmesi, sosyal bilgilerde değer ve beceri öğretiminde sinemadan yararlanılması gibi önerilere yer verilmiştir. Bunun yanında sosyal bilgilerde sinemadan yararlanma ile ilgili etkinlik örneklerinin hazırlanması, bu etkinliklerden eğitimcilerin yararlanmalarının sağlanması, sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde kullanılacak filmlerin telif haklarının satın alınması ve bu filmlerin eğitimcilerin hizmetine sunulması gibi önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
It is believed that social science-related films will have a positive impact on the understanding of the interdisciplinary logic of social information and the detailed learning of the disciplines that make up social information. The purpose of the research is to reveal how films related to social information disciplines contribute to the teaching of social information. In addition, the film’s place in social knowledge and skills teaching has been tried to be revealed. From the disciplines that make up social information for this purpose, films in the fields of history, psychology, sociology, social psychology, geography, law, philosophy, archaeology, anthropology and economics have been discussed, monitored, evaluated, interpreted, the relationship with social information disciplines and with social information. The research methods are used by research methods. The research work group was formed by 14 teachers candidates who studied in the Social Information Department of the University of Muş Alparslan and the research was carried out for 10 weeks in the spring period 2020-2021. The data was obtained through a structured interview form and analyzed by content analysis. The research has found that the cinema is important and effective in teaching social information, that it allows the information to be permanently learned, that it makes the lesson fun and interesting, that it gives different perspectives and interpretation power, that it allows deep learning. In addition, the conclusion was that the cinema contributes to the understanding of the disciplines that make up social information, the understanding of social information in the interdisciplinary logic framework, the deeper learning of information, and the teaching of skills and values in social information has a positive impact. The research has included recommendations such as providing more space for the teaching with the cinema in the Social Information Teaching Program and Social Information Teaching Books, value in social information and the use of the cinema in the teaching of skills. In addition, there are recommendations such as the preparation of examples of activities related to the use of the cinema in social information, ensuring that educators benefit from these activities, the acquisition of the copyrights of the films to be used in social information teaching and the presentation of these films to the service of educators.
