Anlatıcı, Clèves Prensesi’ni “özü sözü doğru” bir kişi olarak tanıtmakta, ancak prenses duygularını hem çevresinden hem de yaşadığı dönemin toplumsal kaidelerine göre yetiştiren annesi olan Madam de Chartres’den saklamaktadır. Doğruluk kavramının, bu toplumsal kaideler ile birlikte dikkate alınması gerekmektedir. Romanın ilk bölümünü kapsayan bu makalede, prensesin düke karşı olan duyguları toplumsal etki yoluyla hem canlanmakta hem de bu duygularına gem vurulmaktadır. Ama prenses, aynı zamanda bu toplumsal bağlar ile oyuna katılmaktadır. Bu nedenle “doğruluğu” daha çok stratejik olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Katı kaidelerle seçkin bir zümrede doğup yetişen prenses, toplumsal prangalardan kurtulma gücünü kendinde taşıyor mu? Bu çalışma zihinsel süreçleri ve toplumsal davranışları bir arada inceleyen psikososyal bir yaklaşım ile irdelenecektir.
The narrator presents the Princess of Clèves as a person "the word is right", but she hides her feelings from both her surroundings and her mother, Madame de Chartres, who raised her feelings according to the social conditions of the time she lived. The concept of truth must be taken into account with these social claims. In this article, which covers the first part of the novel, the princess’s feelings against the duck are both revived through social influence, and these feelings are shattered. But the princess also participates in the game with these social connections. That’s why “truth” is more strategically assessed. Does the princess, who is born and grown in a high-quality assembly with solid cakes, carry the power to get rid of social prangles? This study will be accompanied by a psychosocial approach that studies the mental processes and social behaviors together.
The narrator presents the princess as a “sincere” person, however she hides her feelings from those around her and even from her mother, Mme de Chartres who took care to bring her up according to the social codes of her period. It is through these social codes that we must take into account the notion of sincerity. In this article, which includes the first volume of the novel, the feelings of the princess towards the duke are animated, but also held back by social influence. But it is also through these social ties that she participates in the game. This is why her “sincerity” is considered rather strategic. Settled in an aristocratic environment, does it carry with it the strength to free itself from this social straightjacket ? This work will be studied from a psychosocial approach, a method that analyzes both mental processes and social behavior.
